South Riverdale Lives and Legends Theatre Project

Twisted Metal and Mermaid Tears is a central element of South Riverdale Lives and Legends, a community project which also includes murals and social history research.The theatre piece interweaves folk tales and local stories through music movement, puppetry, visual imagery and storytelling. It is a multilingual, outdoor event featuring an intergenerational, non-professional cast and crew of well over a hundred.
