This project will feature two one-act plays about living with disabilities in Toronto’s Portuguese community. Being Independent is the story of a woman who escapes her overprotective family and finds a sense of belonging with other people with disabilities. Joe, John and Jack: Safety at Work looks at the calamitous consequences of cutting corners at the construction site.
