Homes Not Shelters

Members of Inspirations and other community members created a non-functional installation piece made with a variety of materials such as recycled wood, ceramics and other visual media, based on their concept of the kitchen table. The symbolic significance of this concept to the movement against poverty and homelessness will be explored and addressed in this piece, with the completed installation occupying a space of approximately 6’x 8’x 5’.
