SAVAC is presenting a series of workshops led by artists and activists which focus on creating issue based art projects developed by workshop participants. These will be followed by artist/activist talks, and a group exhibition developed from the artwork produced in the workshop series. Also, a monthly community discussion forum on the topic of Art as Activism, will be held at the 519 Community Centre. All are welcome.

Art as Activism, a community forum. Artists, activists and cultural workers are invited to participate and discuss the relevance of art as activism and the ways in which we can work toward strengthening our communities. This forum will continue monthly.
