Take Part is an opportunity for community organizations, trade unionists, agencies and other groups to discover the possibilities and joys of working with artists on collaborative projects -what’s involved, how to initiate a project, how to contact artists, how to get funding. Short presentations by Laidlaw Foundation’s first cultural animators, Elizabeth Cinello, Alice Walter and Min Sook Lee, will be followed by discussion, refreshments and socializing. The event takes place at the Market Gallery during the photography exhibit of CAB 2000 projects, Course of Action: Images of Community Art in Progress.
